My favourite lunch at the moment – salad from the garden with a soft boiled egg – aka grasshoppers – aka kale – through it as dressing.
The grasshoppers love kale, but that’s ok

Great photos, the salad looks delicious. Our grasshoppers are smaller and fast. I can’t catch them but I think the younger chooks probably get a few. I recently read your post bringing in the garlic and have to thank you for writing it as I had a really good crop this year, but would have done several things wrong had I not read your post.
